Description: AutoCAD® Civil 3D is a powerful application for civil engineering design. Although it runs in the familiar AutoCAD® environment, the program is based on a dynamic engineering model that contains all of the core geometry and integrates all of the data. When you make a change to the design, Civil 3D automatically updates the related objects, views, annotations, tables, etc. Keeping all design elements synchronized is therefore greatly simplified. This course focuses on basic tools that the majority of users will need to work with Civil 3D.

Prerequisites: Working knowledge of a recent version of AutoCAD®, Microsoft® Windows® XP or Microsoft® Windows® 2000 .
Description: This course focuses on what you need to effectively use AutoCAD Map 3D 2010 in your daily tasks. Each lesson contains concepts, principles, and exercises to provide you with the background and foundation of knowledge that you need to effectively apply the features directly to your job tasks. AutoCAD® Level 1: Fundamentals
Prerequisites: Basic computer skills such as opening and saving files. Must be comfortable using a keyboard and a mouse with a scroll wheel. A working knowledge of basic design/drafting procedures and terminology, Windows 9x, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, or XP.
Description: This course is designed for someone with no previous CAD skills. By the end of this course, the student will be able to create a 2D drawing using the basic drawing and editing tools, organize drawing objects on layers, add text and basic dimensions, and set up the drawing to print correctly.
